The Disgruntled Taxpayers A 3 piece Brisbane based band featuring Jake on guitar and vocals, Mark on bass and Paul on drums. The 3 intrepid warriors fight for peace and justice following their musical journey around the block. Goatzilla has been described as "A feral version of ACDC meets Motorhead, with twice the shredding". And they think that's pretty accurate. Goatzilla plays all original Aussie Stadium Rock in the vein of their heroes - ACDC, The Angels, Midnight Oil, Rose Tattoo, and Radio Birdman. Two talented guitarists take turns in delivering blistering guitar solos - Pete "P1" Beardsley dand Pete "P2" Janssen; Drummer Mick Davies draws on his love of modern metal with punishing and creative double-kick, cymbal, and tom play; and frontman Ben emulating a Rickenbacker-wielding with devastating bass runs and thunderous Aussie-accented gravel vocals. Their songs are very Australian, and focus on classic rock'n'roll themes with catchy, memorable riffs; shout-along choruses; and of course the all-important facemelter twin guitar solos!
